Easton’s cluster has been out for better than a year and a half. Have a donor cluster housing that I was using to check fit before trying his. Not getting anything to line up right I don’t think. Anyone have a few pictures how just the cluster fits back into the dash frame opening? I see the pin on the rear of the cluster that I assume goes in the slot in dash frame in upper right hand corner but hard to tell how the rest fit’s/ angle. Does it lay on outside? Or half in and out of the opening? I remember us taking it out but , we just not sure at this point. We put it all together on kitchen table and notice with bezel it appears maybe there is a slight angle to the set up and that at the top the gap we see will be covered by dash pad if that ever gets here!

Any direction as usual
Is greatly appreciated

@AuroraGirl good pic. Trying to get it in without scratching up his newly painted steering column

See the screws on the top part that hold it to the metal, then the bottom there appears to just "rest" against the metal unless the 2 small hex screws are holding it to the bottom by the column

Looking good so far. Just can’t get the “nipple” in upper right corner to go into slot so upper right bracket is flush to screw to dash. Thoughts y’all?

Push down with some force, try to start that screw below it. Aftermarket stuff is a tad off sometimes!

Yes, the two hex screws do mount cluster to the metal dash on each side of the column.

Man, we are close but it’s the cluster we took out of truck when E bought it. So it’s old and brittle. Decided if I mess it up I’ll go buy Dakota digital and start from scratch!

This is a top pic of not getting the nipple to go into slot. Thinking that I may use Dremel and just cut it off and see if that helps our situation.

Y’all are the best.

I pried open the hole some but obviously not enough. Now that I have most of it in the thought of removing is not pleasant as everything is actually working except volt gauge ..
