No that's a factory 8' stepside bed. Some municipalities used fleets of these trucks for park service trucks. I looked at one to buy in Cincinnati but it was extremely rotten.

8' stepsides used to be fairly common around where I grew up. I have not seen one around in quite some time.

    Driving to work today.
Looked totally unrestored. Just bombing down I90 into town at about 75mph.

Edit, no matter which way I rotate the pic it comes up sideways...

    Never knew this. Hmm

    People also ask

Is there a 6 bolt main?
    "); display: inline-block; height: 24px; width: 24px; transform: rotateZ(-180deg);">

    6 bolt main

The typical design for a six-bolt main bearing is four vertical bolts (two on each side of the crankshaft) from the bottom extending into the block and two lateral cross-bolts coming from the left and right side pan rails into the side of the main caps to provide additional lateral strength.

Guess there is according to this.

16k is way too much for me. I like a BBC WITH 4.11 rear-end but, still not worth that money. No intake, no cam and no hedders? Will it do a burnout? :burnout:

Interior looks clean. Firestone tires suck. I need a good paint job too. I like the patina look but not with different colors.

I know these trucks are getting more valuable but, people are getting stupid with the asking price. My ss won't even bring near that and I do have 16k in it.

Give him 7k for it. He didn't say no low ballers lol
