Lukas. Approximately 5 years old. Just the vets best guess Rescued him from a local place that specializes in labs. He’s a great dog but has some quirks. Probably bc of his past which I have no clue other than the previous owners gave him up. He’s got it made now. Had him a little over a year

But he's a happy dog now. Both of my dogs were unwanted and I got them about 1-2 years old. I didn't mind. Seems so many like the cute little puppies but then they grow and they don't want them no more. I'm the opposite. I don't do puppy stages. Whining, pissin' and shittin' in the house, digging in the trash, jumping on people, chewin shit up. Nope, Nope, Nope.

The other advantage to keeping their tags on your keychain, if you should lose your keys somewhere, you'd hope someone will call the phone # and try to return them to you.

yep. Exactly! I spent the first 3 or 4 days I got him at home and they said he was house trained but it’s not uncommon to have accidents until they figure out their schedule. I got one of those cheap in home cameras to see what he was doing when I’d leave. Seemed really anxious so I was worried about leaving him for work all day. Look at the cam around an hour after I got to work and he had some toys out. Looked a couple hours later and thought hmmmm I don’t remember a big brown toy.........Yep you got it. He left me a present right in the center of the living room floor

I have had my dogs old tags on our keys for a long time.
Well since we put our last one down over 10 years ago.

Our current lot of goof balls.
All of our animals are named after Jason Statham movie characters.

    Frank the dragon.
He is just about 1 year old.
We were at the pet store last year as they wanted a cat.
We have a tiny 960 square foot house and I didn't really want to add a box of cat shit back to the house again.
So I asked the pet store guy about the bearded dragons and he said they were the dog of the reptile world. Sounds good to me.

    Next we have Chev Chelios.
He is one of our two Boston Terrier brothers that we bought as wee babies.
Chev was the runt of the litter and is now 30 pounds.
Much bigger than the 18-24 pounds we were expecting, but all slim and muscular.
    Just a compact guy.
    20200705_134339.jpg

    Then we have Jensen Ames.
He was the biggest of the litter of 8 puppies.
This monster of a small dog is 34 pounds and very sporting and fit.

The boys are now 10 1/2 years old and just as goofy as ever.

Rescue dogs and a Subaru. It’s a stereotype for a reason. These are my girls. They don’t want to go to college, they won’t come home pregnant and they are always happy to see me. AD070A2E-3E48-481B-944D-C85701E11AD5.jpeg

These two are pretty dang spoiled. My girlfriend hand feeds the brindle most evenings, one kibble at a time. If she doesn’t, he’ll sit in front of her and holler. Found em both in a box at 6weeks old, dumped on the side of the road out by the lake house.

Heath knows when I am using the Suburban keys. He gets excited and loves to ride in it. Not so much with the van. Lol

Our oldest turns 14 in January, god willing. We joke that we had to static drop the truck to make it easier for her to load up.

Give him time he'll come around. Took Bugsy six years to finally settle in.

The best dogs seem to be the ones that someone else threw away. Since they were puppies when you brought them home, maybe they will only have good dreams. My pit occasionally has bad nights but they seem to be happening less and less.

    Those are good looking dogs.
