Awesome intake for a square. I liked it SO MUCH on my 75 that I bought another one after I was forced to sell mine post-wreck.

Your truck will drive completely different than with a Performer on it!

I think this one is dated 1980? They aren't getting more common...

There's even a built-in tray for holding your extra nuts and bolts, lol :p

The layout is similar to the old Eddy Torker, other than that bridge in the rear. My K5 came with a Torker installed and I ended up replacing it with a Performer, it picked up some grunt for street driving.

Edit: It was a Torker II, not the regular Torker.

The "tray" actually connects #7 to #8.

My truck freaking LOVED that manifold. It really put the power down low, tons of grunt to get the jacked up big tires MOVING.

YEAH!

I gotta give it to ya, that article sold me. The next time I put together a small block, I think I'll hunt down one of these puppies.

Glad to hear - they'll prolly take YOUR word for it! I keep tryin to tell muggs about what a good squarebody intake this is but don't care too much because at least EYE know..

I simply happened across one on eBay a year ago and the seller said it was made by Zora Arkus-Duntov? I knew who that is, so I began to research for myself.
Ended up buying it and was AMAZED at how good it worked on my Blazer.

But y'all go ahead and buy a 2101. :favorites37:

So were you going to buy that one up there on eBay, or just showing the rest of us?

No buddy, that's all you. I only thought somebody else may want one...my desire was to help out the squarebody brethren.
Thanks for askin.

I have a brand new one -that's never been installed- for my next small block project! I was gonna put it on my 408 with the World heads but I think it'll end up in the IROC now. The Tuned Port 400 ain't no joke since I also have a 1985 TPI manifold that hasn't done anything since I bought it 10 years ago, it's gonna finally have it's day...
:greenchainsaw:
I have bought TWO of those 300-28Z intakes ...because they suck so much....

I have an o.g. Edelbrock 2101 for sale if you know somebody...
And a Quadrajet patterned Holley Streetmaster 300-38.
