I'm so confused with my truck. About a year ago I replaced my carburetor and intake. It ran fine for awhile till my pick up coil went out. So replaced the whole distributor instead of tearing the old on apart. I timed it with only 8 degrees advanced. It had a small bit of hesitation around 2000 to 2500 rpm. I messed with my advance and got it to go down to 1500 to 2000. But I can't get it to go away.

So there was no hesitation at all before the distributor swap, correct? Maybe some lighter advance springs would help.

Yes I swapped out the springs for lighter ones and it seems to have fixed it thank you
