Why can't I post on the wanted thread? Each time I try it says I am not allowed.

For a WANTED items, I woudln't have a problem with you starting a WANT ad, then I"ll move it over there. But, the person would need to send you a PM since you won't be able to respond in the thread after it's moved to WANTED.

That will probably be something you'll have to find at a junkyard since it's not really a bolt-in part. (Riveted in if I remember correctly) Depending where in WV you are I could recommend a few places.

I'm in Martinsburg, eastern panhandle. I've tried all the junk yards around here, in near by Va. & Md.

You should also check craigslist for people parting one out. I'll check a couple yards here close and let you know what I find. You need the crossmember, bracket, and all? Might be just as easy to fabricate something.

Yep, I need it all. You might be right about just fabricating something. My old GMC is a Work truck, that has been rode hard and put away wet !! (or in other words, NOT pretty) lol

Toyota has a pretty slick system for the spare under their trucks, might be easier to find too. 95-04 model Tacomas. Cut the cable system off the crossmember and make your own crossmember and bolt/weld it to it.

It's not riveted that I'm aware of. But I do agree, check local junkyards. Even if we find someone here that has one, lets say they wan't $20, add shipping, you're looking at another $20-$30 for a total of $40-$50. I'd think a wrecking yard would or should be willing to give one up or $20-$25.

I"ll take of getting you an ad in the wanted section for that though. Do be sure to look over a few threads and surely you can add something to some of them. You'd be at 50 posts in notime. Now we do want legitimate posts. Don't just hit up pic threads and say, Cool truck 50 times. That's a bit obivious what's up there.

Have you tried Wingfields salvage in PA. That guy gots alot old crap that he wont scrap. He also 50-60's impala collector too. Here's a another Fenches in New Market VA.
