Ok.... so I replaced my column from a tilt, to a non tilt. (Old one was done)
Rebuilt the non tilt and replaced the old started switch and parking/ neutral switch. Also added electrical grease on the plugs.

Went to connect the battery, and the sucker tries to crack over. With no key in the truck!

So I go right to the ignition switch, to inspect it. A purple wire previously poped out, and I thought I had to it on the right slot. I might not of. Does anyone know where this purple wire goes on the ignition switch?

Update: if I put the wire on the first slot on the left, nothing happens when I click the switch I’ve to start the truck, if I put it on the middle slot, the truck cranks over no matter what position the switch is clicked on

Looking at your pic, if the pink is at 3 o'clock and red is 6 your purple wire goes at 9 o'clock.
Sounds like you need to adjust the switch.

Welcome!

This probably isn't the issue, but be aware that the ignition switch is different between tilt and non-tilt columns. The wiring is identical. The reason the switches are different is the tilt mechanism causes the switch rod to move in the opposite direction. I had to see this one for myself when I swapped from a non-tilt to a tilt column.

Thanks guys, I figured it out. The purple wire was in the wrong port. Starts and runs fine. However, my turn signals just stay on, they won’t flash. Also, my headlights won’t turn on.

Bad flasher module, bad front and/or rear lamps.

Check fuse for headlights, check headlight switch.

Check out wiring schematic from the front page of this site.

You will succeed.
