I just found out that no one makes new body bushings with new sleeves.

    Is that right???

All my c30 cab mounts are gone they do not exists.

What do you guys recommend or use for the sleeves?

Or am I wrong and there is a company that makes the bushings and sleeves in a kit.

I can fab them if I have to but I would rather just buy them.

I have been combing the Internet with no luck.

I can’t even find the factory reproduction rubber ones.

I read something about they come with the hardware ie: sleeves spacers and washers.

I’m really frustrated any help would be greatly appreciated.

I’m within a few days of setting the cab and I can’t without body mounts.

    Any ideas???

I'd get busy with the chopsaw and some tubing.

Well one of my problems is I have nothing to go off of and I’m pretty sure there are multiple shims and special lower washers and pretty sure there are sleeves with shims/washers built in to one end similar to a t. The sleeve and washer being one part.

    Not to mention the thickness.

Kinda scratching head because I have no clue what they look like for sure, and I’m trying to avoid a ton of time fabbing them only to find out they are not correct.

What I’m saying is if I had an old set I could whip them out, But nothing to go off of I’ll probably have a ton of time in r and d.

So finding a new set or talking to someone who has been down this road before will save me a ton of time.

Which is a valuable commodity concerning this project. I have very little time, owning my own business and family life like most of us I don’t have any extra time.

Seriously though thank you very much for your input. I may end up having to do exactly what you suggest. I sure hope to avoid it if at all possible though.

I think with them they still don't list parts for a 1-ton truck, so you would need to look at mounts for a crew cab C20 or even a Suburban. I don't have any of their recent catalogs though.

Ya not sure what direction to head just yet. I am going to call around tomorrow and see what I can come up with.

Either way I can’t be the first and only person to hit this wall.

So regardless I’ll post my solution or list where and how to obtain all the necessary pieces.

    Thanks again!

Here you go. I think you are looking for #7 P/N 30-0158 https://www.lmctruck.com/1973-87-ch...frame-mounting-hardware-radiator-core-support

I think these use the good mark rubber mounts. I ordered a single one on rock auto just to see what it was and it was a complete rear mount with bushing, rubber pieces, washers, and even the bolt. You can get them individually on Rockauto and amazon as well, but not as a complete kit. It looks like early year 1/2 ton 4wd and all 3/4 ton used the same bushings. Not sure on 1 ton. Cant imagine the cab bushings would be different, even though the frames are taller.

I just remembered, there's a member here with a '74 crew cab that had a 4x4 conversion done. I can't remember their name right now. It's a two tone red truck, custom bumpers?

Anyway, he put in new cab mounts, there was something different about the rear cab mounts on the '73-'74 crew cabs.
