What do y’all think? At first I wanted to say no, but I will say that the mounting points do look stronger than the other 81-87 hooks I’ve seen. Maybe he’s on to something. Or just on something.
399.00!? What is this dude on!? Lol

Never heard of that but i think all the ones on the trucks Ive had were round all the way up. So maybe hes right? Maybe I can take my round ones and grind them square and sell them for 399?

I have a pair, but I thought they were for the earlier trucks (73-80) ?
They bolt on to the side of the frame rail.

Iirc, those are the factory hooks for '73-'80. Pretty sure that's what mine look like.

I just hate when people think they have something rare and have to make a huge deal about it. Then try and sell it for stupid money, grinds my gears

They are a bit hard to find now. I've seen them sell other places for stupid money. Just not THAT stupid, lol.

They are built the same as the 73-80, but that generation of hooks was straight. Shaped like a candy cane. The ones posted are the correct shape for the 81-87 style, but they are definitely beefier built than the ones I’ve seen.

Maybe @Keith Seymore could throw an eyeball on this.

We've all looked at the RPOs for these trucks and I don't remember seeing a specific heavy-duty tow hook option. My guess is they're just from a different vendor.

You're right, I didn't feel like going and looking in the dark and rainy weather.

Those do look like what's on my '88 Burb though.

RPO code is V70

I've looked at '81 and '85 - '86 and all I can find is V76 two front tow hooks. No mention of Heavy Duty vs. STD. Was it offered on something other than pickups and C&C's?

Edit, mine are cast differently but don't look any less beefy.
