So i drove around for a week or 2 i kept thinking my 350 eng didnt sound right i crawl under hood and find 1 side of my headers so loose i moved the nuts with my fingers i tightened up all the bolts on headers and the difference is nite to day doesn't leaking headers effect gas milage rpms

Short answer yes.

Also the injected engines had o2 sensors so they would malfunction with the leak as well.

I simply use good gaskets like Fel-Pro steel-core 1404, 1444, 1405, etc. (depending on exhaust port size) along with ARP bolts with small flanges built into the bolt heads. I then re-tighten one time after a few hours of running. Can't remember the last time I had a bolt come loose. Also, I've always used headers with 5/16" or 3/8" flange thickness, vs. the cheapies with warp-prone 1/4" flanges.
