I have an 84 K10 with a 6 inch lift. I blew the motor, a SBC 350, about a year ago and I have finally found a replacement motor. The motor is a Chevy 454 out of an 88 motorhome. I have verified the block numbers are what it is. I am wanting to get a set of headers for this motor but what I am finding is that the frames are different from half ton and one ton trucks. Any ideas? I am trying to keep costs down if at all possible. Thanks.

Standard truck headers fit, as well as Chevelle/Nova headers. The car headers tend to tuck up higher which helps with shackle and crossmember clearance, but shift linkage clearance may need dealt with.
