A while back, I sold some KC 5x7 light covers I had. Well, now that I have another push bar, I want a set of covers for my cheapo lights. But, KC seems to have discontinued all their vinyl covers, and they go for stupid money on eBay. As well as I remember, there wasn’t much to them, just vinyl, a piece of foam for padding, and some elastic to hold them on the lights. So does anyone have any experience making vinyl covers for various items? It looks like I can buy the KC font decals on eBay for less than $10.

I had 5 mismatch light covers, so I painted them all black, and painted "KC Daybrighter" on them by hand. From anything more than 2 feet away, they look like the real thing.

Old post but fwiw....there is a woman on ebay who makes custom covers. I'll see if I can find her. I know she also had her own website too.

They weren't free but not bad considering the quality.
