Sometimes a few relief cuts to get where you want to go.
Keep going and make things easier to see, going at it from the back to see the overlapping joints.
Getting called in for dinner! Rough life today
Managed to get a few more hours in tonight... little bit of preparation work completed.
Leaving it here for tonight, see if I can’t pick up back in the morning hopefully!
Once in a while if I’m taking to long to write my post up this still happens, Normal? Like it times out?
You have almost the exact frame my son does.
Any idea where these go on the chassis?
This is the only part on the entire restoration we can’t figure out where they go.
back side of the upper A arm front suspension on the inside of the frame in behind the engine mounts... what’s the length & width and bolt diameter size...?
Are you talking about where the k member bolts to the frame? If so that’s where I figured they went but they don’t line up at all with the bolt holes.
Parts are at the shop.
But if I remember correctly they are about 1” wide and 3” long they also have a curve or slight bow in them. (End to end)
Thanks for your help sorry to hi-Jack your thread.
Ah! That’s ok, then I would say the bumper.
If you zoom in on the bolt in the shadow, is this the ones your talking about?
Just curious if you ran across then in your build. Thank you for the help!!
I have questions for you now! Did you paint each individual part and reassemble? What paint did you use and what is the climate where you at?
Damn Kurt! You opened a big can of worms and are making it a work of art!
