Don't get me wrong we all go out for meat and hunt here on the farm for white tail. I thought my uncle said a combination license mule deer and elk is like 1500 plus the outfitter and of course getting there. Don't know how true that all is but do all of our cutting and grinding up as well. As we speak my wife has venison tater-tot casserole in the crock pot.....looking forward to this haha. My dad said they since the elk are so big they would quarter they elk out in the woods and then pack it all on the mules to carry it out of the woods. Then they brought all 800 lbs of meat home via a meat box my grandpa made with some dry ice. Always had venison and elk in my family, not very much beef haha

My did uncle did a euro mount for me of the 9 point I got 2 years ago. That's an awesome way and really cheap or free if you do the boiling etc as he did

Well now I'm totally sidetrack so here they are lol The first is the small 8 I got this year
The second pic of the euro mount of the 9 point(last pic) which makes him look bigger than he actually is so the other one is for perspective.
The second to last was a beast that was taken here in Northeast pa this year....that maybe worthy of a mount haha

The mods will probably edit your post, we're not aloud to post pics of dead animals.

Fish I think it is OK.

Someone got offended years ago, and it was decided not to allow pics of kills.

My grandpa was not. He was a farmer so for him his truck was just a tool. Always a long bed, 2wd strip down Chevy. Rubber floor, manual trans, no ac or radio. He a would always say, all it can do is take you and bring you lol. His last truck was an 01 Chevy, 2wd short bed. Rubber floors, manual windows and locks. Only had a radio and ac because you couldn't get one without it. He did finally get an auto and the 4.8 v8 though.
