Has anyone installed a GPS speedometer? I’m looking at the Speedbox from Speedhut. Kind of pricey but let’s you keep original speedo and get an accurate speed. I’m wondering how well they work and if there are any surprises in installation.

I have the app. It’ll cut out sometimes, but my phone is ancient. Tell me more about this update and keeping the original speedo. Actually, scratch that. I have the Speed Box app, but I think that’s something totally different.

I know this post is old, but I have the intellitronix GPS signal generator for my intellitronix speedo. It works fine, but it lags. This isn't a big deal for now, but I'm hoping to install a rostra cruise control kit when I have time and I just wonder how well it will work with a speedo signal that is a bit laggy.
