    Carb question

So how quickly should the vacuum choke pull off on my Qjet move when the throttle is opened and the vacuum dropps? I removed the linkage from the pulloff to the secondary upper plates and adjusted the spring tension to reduce the "bog" but I would like to use the linkage as intended. I think the vacuum pull off is slow to react and wont let the secondarys open. Thats why I removed the linkage in the first place.
    Perhaps @Quadrajetpower can answer this...

Another parts score! Got a usable decent bumper and the column I was looking for all for $60.

I will find another Butterscotch some day. It was kinda like getting rescue dog from the pound. Nobody wanted Butterscotch when I got it. I saved it from the crusher and used it up. It was an easy truck to love but had so many issues it just needed to go. Pretty sure something will come along. Right now I feel a big sense of relief! I have less work on my plate. Plus my wife's health is not improving like we hoped so there will be a bunch more medical stuff to come.

Yeah, that makes sense. Sounds like time to focus on the wife and get her better. Sorry to hear that she's still having issues. That definitely takes top priority. I hope you continue being a regular on here and keep coming around even without a square right now..

I found a beautiful V2500 Burb, rust free with excellent paint and interior. I don't have inside storage and I just need a DD for now so I have to pass on it. I don't want to expose a virgin Square to road salt and have to start fighting that battle.

That was a home made stepper. It went to a good home the guy that bought it got it for his girlfriend/fiance and she is in love with it! He has 10-15 of these trucks and plans to continue with the projects in much the same manner as I was. I pitched this site to him in the hopes he would show up.

Nice!! If she loves the truck that much that should be a good sign that she'll take good care of it :)
