Fuel Selector Fuse

I have a 1980 Gmc C3500.

After a weekend of jump starting, and some trail and error I put in a new battery. In doing so my fuel gauge now reads past Full in the 3 o’clock position. The fuel selector switch does not change the position of the needle on either side tank. Could I have blown the fuse fuel selector fuse. Or is it a ground issue?

That is some kind of power supply relay - and as you read it is specific to the 1980 model year. I don't know much about it. Try unhooking the battery for a half hour or so. Sorry, that's all I've got:
