Hi. New guy here. My sone just bought his first vehicle, a 1978 Silverado. Pretty decent shape but needs a bit of work we can do together. Don’t know a ton about these trucks so I’m here for some help.
My question ( and probably one of many ) is that I noticed a gap around the front turn signal housings. Is it supposed to be like that? Is there a gasket or trim piece missing. It just looks weird.

I appreciate any help.

Thanks
Chris

Welcome to GMSB!

I've not seen many that were aligned properly. There is no gasket there. They are going to flex so you want a little give-and-take. After all, they're trucks.

As was said, that's about normal. The filler panel can be fitted better to improve the light fitment. It just takes some fiddling.
