front panel lower piece bent or?

my parking lamp sticks out no where near flush in the front lower panel of my 75, on driver side.. but pass side is flush and good. what could be causing this? how can i fix it?

Either something with the light housing or the mounting tabs are bent.

My dads 75 dont. My 1980 has it wrap around the headlight bezel all in one so I cant compare that. Perhaps its how the valence is machined to let it fit?
