Underdash shot showing the pedals and wiring. I unloomed the main wiring harness you see there, removed the starter wiring for the auto, and then put in the manual transmission starter wiring (with clutch interlock connector) that I got from AJDemello, and then loomed it back up with dry vinyl tape to match the factory. You can also see the clutch master cylinder rod and mounting rod. I still need to cut another hole in the firewall for the reverse light harness (which will plug into the dangling connector with blue and green wires).

Got the new carpet ordered up today, and gonna work on fitting the high hump tonight. I went for the nice stuff from ACC, Essex carpet with mass backing for noise/heat insulation. Gonna really make the rest of my interior look like poo!

    Thank you sir!

    Gracias!

I gotta work up a little more guts, lol. Still driving it nice and ginger!

This thing is about yaaaay far from being buttoned up! Spent today modifying my high hump to fit, doing my final cut on the floor, welding up the 4x4 hole in the hump, installing some of my new carpet (rear section), and final installing and sealing the high hump. All I have left to do is install the reverse light wiring harness (which I soldered on the correct pigtail for today), install the new carpet, screw down the shift boot and bracket, and it's DONE.

Well, other than the tune. Found an 04' 2500HD w/ LQ4/NV4500 factory tune, but it's for EFILive, and I have HPTuners. Gonna have to have my buddy license the EFILive tune for $125, then pull it with HPTuners, and segment swap it into my tune to avoid having to license it AGAIN in HPTuners.

Thank you sir! My in-laws are coming to visit, so that kind of lit a fire under my ass, since we need the truck to pick them up at the airport (my wife believes that all of us, including the 2 kids, need to be there to pick them up...whatever, lol).

Beautiful! It's nice when things are clean and new-ish and ready for long service. Great work!

Got the front carpet installed (man, what a PITA!).

I also got my tune ironed out, I believe. I was able to open the stock LQ4/NV4500 tune in EFILive, and transpose all the tables I thought were relevant (rows and columns are opposite of HPTuners). Then I copied them into HPTuners. I also set it so abuse mode is only enabled above 6600RPM. I think that's what was freaking out the computer before when I first tried the manual segment swap. I didn't have the clutch pedal wired up, so it saw engine RPM and movement, with the clutch depressed, and panicked. Seems much happier now!

Still have to screw down the shift boot, and do just a hair more wiring, and it's officially 100% wrapped up.
