Mornin.
Pretty much grew up with only 67-72s and squarebodys in the driveway and garage.

Found this truck last weekend. Lots of good trucks up here, but they go fast, especially the nice ones.
Probebly going to just drive it for the summer before tearing into it. Everything is together and EVERYTHING works! Including cruise AC delay wipers AND the power windows and locks. All original truck minus a Gen V 454 transplant.
Truck is pretty clean, original paint, NO rust save for one pinhole in one spot! We're pumped to have found this truck!

Prolly be spending some time around here now!

Towed it home from Oregun last weekend. Thought about loading the Dodge on the trailer and seeing how the big block with 4.10s pulled, lol.
Glad I didn't, electric fuel pump crapped out Sunday....on the way to the store to get a spare fuel pump! Haha
Love cars you can fix with a pocket knife (that's all I had on me, but it worked).

Mint. The Rear Chromed Step bumper RPO - V43 You don't see often.
As being optional Ofc, They came in Painted selections too along with Factory Argent silver like the Front grilles or Black << Being the rarest.

I also like the Grab Handels & Tailgate protector...

Welcome to the forum from salisbury NC :welcome:

Thanks bud.
Kids just put it to work yesterday and picked up a couple yards of mulch for the flower beds. I think it squatted about 1/4" with 2cy of wet mulch...

Couple more pics since everyone likes pics...but this is all I got, for now.

Interior is in decent shape too. Seat has been rebuilt but needs a new cover, dash pad needs replaced and carpet is like perfect other than faded and stained. Door seals and sills are new. Doors aren't saggy.
I hate to trash the door panels. Want to try my hand at restoring them first. They're in great shape just a bit faded on the top edges.
Not sure if it usta have a headliner or not, but the paint is good on the "ceiling"
Odometer works and reads 63k miles. Impossible to verify, but based on some things, it's possible that it's an original under 100k mile truck....maybe?

Unofficial poll.
Right now it's about 8 to 2 in favor of ditching the grampa visor. Just me and our 13 year old like the visor...lol If the visor goes, clearance lights are getting installed though.

Keep the visor or ditch it?

Going to go back with the factory colors for sure. Too nice not to. BUT, I'm a sucker for 2 tone with white, so thinking repaint factory colors then I'll just wrap the center stripe, the roof and pillars in white. I know the 80s models didn't come with the 2 tone cab unless it was the other 2 tone pattern, but it'll be removable.

Ha, seems all the deals are in Oregon. Since we moved up here about 10 years ago, 3 out of 4 purchases seem to come from Oregon.
You may have given me the first good reason I've heard to join Facebook!

Interesting...truck has a good build sheet. Pretty much every option save for a factory big block. Also camper special and trailer ing package.
I'm sure the Oh Sht handles and tailgate protector are aftermarket. Handles are staying for sure. Haven't taken the tailgate cap off yet, but if the top of the tailgate is as straight as the rest of the tailgate, that'll be a bonus. If I re-install it after paint, a good trick for not farking up your paint with stuff like that is put down a layer or 2 of Clear Bra first then re-install the accessory.

Thanks for all the compliments. Look forward to participating here!
