As I mentioned in an earlier post.. I picked up a 1985 K20 as a daily driver for my daughter.

The intake and below the manifolds are really really gunked up with oil and dirt and more oil and dirt.

Any thoughts of the best way to clean out all the intake crevasses and the 1/2” thick farm dirt from the block while it is still in the truck?

Power purple, simple green, and a pressure washer. Stay away from the electrical stuff with the pressure washer.

This and a narrow flexible putty knife.

Every minute spent scraping thick gunk off saves 2 minutes of soap and water scrubbing and spraying. If you scrape before you spray clean up is easier. Just sweep up before everything gets wet.
