should I? Pan in question is a new deep Hughes performance. Came with pickup tube but no o-ring...

I’ve read where some say to use two. Seems odd. That would give the case less surface area for friction on tube and force the filter further down than designed.

$200 trans pan and not a scratch of literature, awesome. Bolt lengths are different. Shorter bolt in a deeper pan...makes sense, lol!

Apparently the filter isn’t suppose to float around with the new setup. It bottoms against the supplied aluminum spacer.

Glad I used only one oring. The filter fit exactly on the raised pedestals without much extra room.

This definitely made my trash look more sexy

The two o rings would have been for deep pan that does not have raised support. My deep pan came with pickup extension

I installed a B&M pan several years ago, I don't remember instructions with it either.
