door panels..who do you like

the stock door panels for my truck ..the finish is coming off.. the panels are really sun damaged and if you rub the top of the panels all the finish/grain just flakes off.. i would really like to find some panels that i can transfer ALL the trim.. cant seem to find any that i can transfer my vinyl inserts to..81 c10 Cheyenne.. all the ones ive found you can install the pockets and upper brushed aluminum inserts only ..any ideas if i cant find any that can.. who have you guys used...also if any pics of panels would be helpful..going blue..the stock interior color..

I think I'm going with Coverlay on my '85, but purchase them though Rockauto. They are one of the only replacement panels I found that allow you to add the stock style Silverado cloth inserts. I'm not sure if your truck is similar with the vinyl inserts.

I'm not going to use the cloth inserts from Coverlay as they are the 89-91 style. I don't want to run map pockets or pull straps, so I think these will work best. Price is only $237 for the panels including the arm rests and ugly cloth inserts. LMC sells the Silverado trim without door pulls. I used that in my '79. It made it look a lot cleaner. I believe I used factory Cheyenne or Scottsdale door panels. They originally had black door trim.

I sold the truck in January. I only have these two other pictures. The paint is Duplicolor vinyl paint. The dash is black and the doors are a dark gray, but not is dark as the factory charcoal panels in my '85. I got the seat cover and dash trim from LMC.

thanks craig.. i found those door panels you talked about at classic parts..their running a sale.. 299.00 and up get up to 30% off.. i bought the panels and a few other things.. brought the panels down to 219.00
