Don’t get me wrong, it’s in incredible shape. I’d love to have it to run around in. I think the amount of plastic in cars of this era and newer, is what keeps me from viewing them as classics. Then again, I have a first and second generation Glocks that I think may be valuable some day, and people think they’re hideous.

first year for that body style. If you're going to speculate on a vehicle increasing in value, typically you would look for a first year or last year of production. One other thing to note, is that's a non A/C truck. Kind of uncommon around my area and also usually the one thing that doesn't work after all those years. I had an '88 for a few years. Better than average shape for a northern truck, ran reliably, and was comfortable to drive, not to mention reasonably easy to work on. Sold it a couple months ago when I bought my new D-max.
