My mother took these pictures of this truck when she went to see Elvis years back, I swear she said it was his, but I do not know (I don't think Elvis would drive himself and park in a common area, unless maybe part of his band did & this was their truck?). She also has some pictures of the same era Blazer that was apparently his also and I will try to find those pictures.

Here are the pictures she took, I am not sure what year the truck is or the year she took them.

Those plates look like the parody / decorative ones you can still buy online. I mean, Elvis could have owned anything he wanted.....just doubt this one was his personally (although that would be way cool if he did).

All that information, if it is correct, would mean Elvis passed less than a year after he bought that truck.

Could account for the very low mileage, but of course there is no 100,000 digit.

That happens a lot with old pictures like that and i have no idea what causes it, but I noticed the same thing too. Even with some really old snowmobile pictures the decals, or even sometimes a feature that was made on one side of the hood, will be on the other side and the next old picture is fine, so I don't know if a glare issue causes this or what?

OR maybe this was intentional? Maybe he did that so nobody could have used the other?

Could be! But you'd think with all the vehicles he owned, Elvis 1 would have been taken! Or he just as well could have transferred the plate when he sold one. I know if I had that kind of money I'd be buying different cars all the time!

Other than the addition of a trailer ball, window registration sticker missing, and different plates, they look to be the same.

The two follow up questions that come to mind are 1. Does mom have any pictures of the inside of the camper shell? And 2. Were you born approximately 9 mos after these pictures were taken....

I don’t remember seeing any squares in the museum when we visited Graceland back in 03. He owned lots of cool ass caddies though! If you’ve never been, it’s pretty cool. It’s also crazy to see what passed for a mansion back then. I mean it’s still bigger than anything I’ve ever lived in or could afford, but compared to some of the houses newer I’ve been in, it feels small.
