I was under the impression the 44 & Corporate 10 used the same knuckles, hubs and brakes... I've been wrong before though

There were differences through the years and not all spindles work with all hubs, but yes they are the same.

With that said, caliper mounts differ between 6 lug and 8 lug.

Are you sure? Because I have 8 lug rotors on my 77 Jimmy axle, which originally was a 6 lug. One of the dust covers got screwed up is the reason I want to replace them.

Yes the 44 and Corporate 10 are basically the same axle...

Well, I thought so. It's been a long time for me. The 8-lug rotors are a larger diameter, so they almost have to be different. Have you mounted calipers on them then too?

Yes....1/2 ton rotors are 12 inches wide, 3/4 ton rotors are 12.5 inches wide. They still fit in the 6 lug caliper mount. I'm about to do it to the Blazer.
