Has anyone replaced the carpet in their crewcab? If so what company did you use? Mine has rubber mats so I want to replace with carpet.

Ordered carpet from stock interiors. Time to start tearing out the rubber mat and cleaning the floor up.

Let us know how it goes. My buddy always used ACC at his shop and was happy.

Did you get any additional backing on the carpet to help cut down sound?

Yeah will do. I will take pictures. No I went with stock padding but I'm putting down adhesive sound deadening material. Stuff works great. We did it on our 67 442 when we restored it and it did wonders.

Well this is what I've gotten done so far. Took out most all of the interior stuff and gave her a good bath then started putting down the peel and stick sound deadening material.

Take this opportunity to put sound deadening everywhere, heat shield/insulation.. you’ll really like the difference it makes

Do the carpet from stock interiors got here today. My first impressions are that it seems really nice. I have laid out in my shop right now. I will work on trimming it up tomorrow and cutting holes for seats and belts. Super excited to have carpet in it.
