I have an 89 C30 (R30) Crew Cab that is missing the headliner and headliner trim pieces.

Sorry for the poor photos, my phone just doesn’t pick up the black on a cloudy day.

It does have the trim piece between the doors under the upper seat belt mount (Yellow Arrow) but doesn’t seem to go up as high as the one in my 83 CC

These photos are from a different ’83 C30 CC

The trim piece that is between the doors is different than what is in my 89.

1) Are all of the CC trim attachment points the same during the different years?
2) Is the rear corner trim piece (Yellow Arrow and Square) the same on the Crew Cabs and the regular cabs? Or are the CC corner trim pieces larger?
3) Is the trim piece above the rear window (red arrow) the same as the regular cabs?

I have a donor Suburban (91?, Not shown) that I plan on pilfering the overhead console and some trim pieces if they fit.

4) Are the headliner trim pieces from the CC (Crew Cab) and the Suburban the same from the middle of the rear door around front to the other rear door

And,

5) Does anyone know where to get some Crew Cab interior trim pieces?

Seems like there has to be a Square Body wrecking yard somewhere.

Interesting!

I did not know that the very late crew cabs used different trim on the sides, above the doors. I have an '86 cab and it uses the very same trim that is in my '79.

My '78 Suburban uses the same side trim as my crew cabs. My '88 Suburbans use a different trim that goes with a much shorter b-pillar trim panel. I'm betting that the proper side trim (above doors) for your crew cab is the same as found in '80-ish to '91 Suburbans.

All the front trim and rear trim should be the same as a common regular cab pickup. The only trim specific to the crew cabs is the short little adapter pieces above each rear door.

On the other hand, maybe someone simply installed Suburban B-pillar trim in your crew cab. Either way, Suburban side trim should work.

Awesome, so this rear corner piece is the same as the regular cabs? That will definitely be easier to find locally.

Should be, yeah. Although it looks like yours maybe doesn't fit to the rest of the trim as well as mine. If it's still light out when I get home, I can make some good comparisons and report back. I've got regular cabs, crew cabs and Suburbans to compare.

My 89 crew cab the b piller trim is shorter as well then the other trim from above the doors comes down in the middle to about 3inch above the seat belt.

So your side trim looks like this one, before I cut it?

Side point:
Didnt all crew cabs get white trim on the top half of interior? I swear I read that.

All the ones I know of were that white/beige color. Like 70's K5's and Suburbans. The crew cabs just kept it way longer.

HEY Bucket! Why'd you cut the pieces that I need!

Actually I think that I should have all the pieces to go to the middle of the rear doors from my Suburban donor.

* Does anyone have a photo of the rear corner trim from a standard cab? -Do people even drive those non 4-door standard cabs anymore????

Lol, it was trim from an 80's Burb and I needed to make it work with the b-pillar trim in my '78 Burb.

Ok, now all I need is a photo (maybe a quick measurement of the width) of the rear corner piece from one of those funny little standard cab trucks.
