In my handy-dandy 1978 Chevrolet Light Duty Truck Service Manual, it states in Section 1A "Heater", "Blower and Air Inlet Assembly" that"Located in the fuse block, in series between the blower motor and the battery, is a 25 am. fuse C-k models..." When I look at the fuse block, and a schematic of the fuse block it states "20amp" fuse.

So.............which is it? Is there another fuse under the hood for the blower motor?

My '73 has a 25 amp in the fuse block and a 20 amp at the blower motor.

NOTE: If you have a fuse holder that has a spring in it at the blower motor REPLACE IT AT ALL COST!!

If the blower motor every decides that there is a time to blow that fuse, it will turn that spring into a load resistor and fry the wiring.

Don't ask me how I know. Just call me Mr. New Underhood Wiring Harness.
