Hey guys,

On my 82 C10 it's got an engine from a 1976 something, and had the integral cylinder head replaced with a non-integral head. The head has the monojet installed. The cables aren't routed correctly and been rigged. I'm wanting to see about a 2 barrel carb install.

I know most rip out the 6 and install an 8, but I like the 6. Has anyone installed a better carburetor? The engine I spent too much on since it's junk has the Rochester Verajet, but they don't seem to make an adapter that will fit to convert the 1 barrel intake to a 2 barrel.

Any info is appreciated!

There used to be an adapter available to run a 2 bbl carb on a single hole intake.

What about a Clifford 4bbl intake and a small 500 cfm carb?

Eventually yes I’d like to but cost is a factor currently. My main thing is not knowing what kind of 2 barrel to go with so the cables will hook up

If you search 1 to 2 barrel adapter, a lot of different adapters popped up. You may have to go by measurements rather than application though.
