Hey guys,

Is there a chart online with carrier marking ID info?
I’m looking for a carrier and have seen several but all I can get is the markings on the carrier and no other info.

Any help?

Are you talking about rear axle carriers? Most of them are visually ID'ed. We do have a list of axle tube codes in the Squarebody Library. Should be able to find a 3 letter code on the axle tube. Provided noone has done a gear or carrier swap it should be able to tell you the gear ratio and if it's a locking diff or not but that's about it.

No, I’m saying, how do I identify just a carrier, the series and style? Which markings do I use?

I've never ID'ed a carrier by #'s. I've always figured it out by looking at it and seeing what gears are on it. Many time you can tell the series by the thickness where the ring gear bolts on. If we had some pics all around it someone here is likely to figure it out.

That's a Gov LoK POS carrier if that helps any. As far as series, your gear ratio would be a big tell tale of which series without measuring. Is that full proof? NO, but it's not likely you have a thick set of gears to compensate to make the wrong series carrier work since that is an OEM carrier obviously being that it's a GovLok.
