I'm trying to find carpet for the back wall to replace my existing carpet and hardware. The truck came with buckets/console and full floor carpet which I will be refurbishing as well. I'm pretty sure this was factory as the truck is 80% completely stock down to the AM/FM (non-stereo radio)

This all looks and sounds familiar. If you didn't post this before, a PO did. I've still never seen another one with carpet there, but that sure does look original.

Can that carpet be cleaned and dyed, or is it brittle and falling apart?

I really like the factory buckets, my dog wouldn't though. I haven't seen a c/k in years with those seats.

Its brittle and the top edge corners are coming off. It honestly the 1st time I've seen it but I figured it was because of the buckets. The floor is the entire floor except under the seats. there is carpet under the console as well. All the more reason to think its from the factory.

I may have posted this before as well, but its been a few years and I'm close to restoring it.

I found some bucket seat rails from a 78 CC that both sides are adjustable but the seat rails won't bolt up to my seats. I know the mounting to the body is different but wouldn't think the seats would be. this was in hopes of making the pass. seat adjustable. I'm still on the hunt for some buckets were the back is adjustable too.

If I was looking into replacement, I'd see about who could custom make something like that. Someone's got to be able to do it if they have the dimensions.

I don't believe bucket seats were available on crew cabs in any year. Burbs got different seats that were adjustable on both sides starting in '81, and those can easily be fitted to a crew cab.

The bucket seats in my pickup were from an '80. I really don't remember it having carpet on the back wall, but I also kind of remember it being a Scottsdale trim level. It did have carpet though, not a rubber floor.

I will have to see if I can find a picture of it, but the screws are philips button head about 1/4" to 3/8" long (not exactly sure as I have not taken one out), the nuts are acorn nuts. These are the 3 to 4 screws going down the door jamb. I'm guessing its the same on the back wall but you cannot see the heads or nuts because it looks like the carpet is folded over them.

on the back wall the carpet is folded over about 1" and there are holes for, my guess is plastic clips. 1st pic below is just above the nuts on the door jamb, 2nd is on back wall between bucket seats.
