Nobody has a replacement grill for the 83-84 GMC trucks. I've tried LMC Truck, Classic Parts, Classic Industries, Brothers, Certifit, and no luck. They all say backordered and have no idea when or if it is coming in.

Any other places I should try?

Will an '85 grill bolt in its place?

Thanks guys!

I was alway under the impression that all the grills from '81-'87 were interchangeable. They may have some subtle differences in styling, but I thought the mounting tabs should be the same.

I think I have one, if I didnt already give it away, a pretty nice one in the shed, I know it does not fit My 78 K20. I think it was from an 84 1/2 ton.
If You can not find one, I`ll dig it out and snap a couple of pics of it. If I have the grill, I might have the bumper too. Just not sure what I have over there any more, i has been a while since I have been in there.

^^^ I would look into this, OP. Even if you do find a replacement, they don't come with a spot to place your bowtie. That or a NOS grille.

Is it a GMC grill? If it is, I am interested.

Certifit in Oklahoma City has an '85 grill for $59.99 but my experience has always been nothing fits as good as an OEM part. That National Parts Depot has them in stock (so it says online) for $99.99 so that could be another option. Thanks for the help guys. Hopefully MrMarty51 has the grill and its a GMC.

No, it is a Chevy. I`ll have to make sure that I still have it too. I can not imagine Me getting rid of it. I never get rid of anything, just keep piling it up LOL
I also have a brand new set of factory original front fenders that a guy sold me for 200 bucks. I`ll probably be putting those on My 78 K20. SOMEDAY. LOL

Thanks for letting me know. I want to stick with a GMC grill. Certifit has an '85 GMC grill for $59.99 so I am going to pick one up tomorrow, since I'm headed to Oklahoma City to pick up my brand new seat belts and reupholstered seats. Gonna be a fun day tomorrow. lol
