Can you run 31/10.5/15 on 15x6 rims?

Hey all, I’ve been flipping a coin on either 31/10.5/15’s or 32/10.5/15’s on my 2wd 1500. I’m a fan of the dog dishes so I found a set of dog dish 1/2 ton wheels, BUT I looked online days later and saw that it would be unsafe to do 31/10.5/15’s on 15x6 wheels and almost sold them off.
You must be registered for see images attach

Before I scrap these things, I think I want to buy 31/10.5/15’s to put on the truck, can I do it on these 15x6’s??? I just want to see what you all have done and if they hold up. The truck is geared to the moon so I absolutely do NOT drive this thing in the highway. It either has 4.11’s or 4.56’s with a 3-speed.

This is more or less a last minute clarification, I would like to run these wheels.

I'm pretty sure there were some pickups with heavy duty brakes that had either 15X7 or 15X8 dog dish wheels. I don't recall for sure if they were 7 or 8" wide, but I do know they were wider than the standard rims. Big 10's probably? My dad had a '79 C10 like that. I would think those rims would be out there to find at a wrecking yard. They would look better with the 31X10.50's too.

I’ve been on the hunt for some and I just can’t find any. I have a “Heavy Half” (GMC version of Big10) and mine has the 15x8 rally wheels.. who knows if they are the original one after 41 years.
