I have a buddy who has some 235/85/16 tires for free.

Will they work on the front of my 1989 Chevy R3500? I don't know anything about tires. Thanks in advance.

235/85R16 is a common size for 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks. It’s a little taller than the even more common 245/75R16 used on many trucks, but should work fine on your R3500. You also need to verify that it is load range E (10 ply rating).
