Bluetooth help

This may sound stupid and may already be answered. But it's there any bluetooth device I can hook a power source to and my truck speakers to run so I don't have to install a new stereo. Like I said maybe a stupid question so be gentle lol.

What stereo are you using? If it’s an aftermarket w/ aux, there are adapters for that.

I don't have a stereo at all and don't want to install one

Oh, I see what you’re saying. It would likely have to be mediated; I don’t know of a way to make that happen where it goes directly to the speakers. Without a stereo, you could use an amp to bridge everything together, and then use your phone as an audio source rather than an HU. You’d need an aux to RCA adapter cable to run to the amp if you want to do hard wired or get a Bluetooth compatible amp to do it wirelessly. This isn’t written in stone. Someone might have a tweak or a better idea that throws mine out the window, or you could call Crutchfield’s tech support line and see what they come up with.

Care to share what your set up is? I'd think you would have to install some sort of receiver to power the speakers.

There are now lots and lots of bluetooth only amps that you can hook up to the speakers.

i've seen some that transmit to your radio on the FM band and power off ether your lighter.
