So I stripped my interior last night and I am about to order new carpet and back liner. I like the tan but it's a PITA to keep clean. Was thinking going black instead. Everything else in the pick will be the same except the door sill will be chrome not black. Thoughts?

I'd second black.

Tan. Light on light. Light on dark, too much contrast. What you have looks good, stick with it.

I second black but be warned black shows every speck of dust and makes it more apparent. Lighter colors like tan are really good at hiding dust and only showing real dirt, like mud and stuff. If your truck were another color I'd suggest grey.

Black would look sick, where do you get your interior parts?

Correct me if I am wrong but is that seat out of an OBS truck or is it your original square bench?

Went back and forth a while on this. Decided on sticking with the tan. Interior is gutted and I'll be doing some new coating and deadner before I do the carpet. Up next is the gauge cluster paint!

When it was time to replace my carpet I went tan as well but I wanted it to be just like the original color.
I'm having a grey/black debate on my K5 project. Either all grey or all black.
The original maroon interior is way too faded.

Damn, that looks good!:waytogo:

One more thing mine needs - new carpet up front.
So many parts, so little dollars...
