My dad bought a 1979 Bonanza C10 years ago and used it to tow a boat and a utility trailer for his lawn cutting activities. I'm working to get some long overdue tasks taken care of before selling the truck.

I agree. Hang on to it if you can. I have my father's truck right now and I am planning to pass it on to one of my kids in a few years. It would be great if you could keep it in your family.

Thanks everyone! I would love to keep it for the memories and the usefulness a truck provides but I do need to sell it once needed repairs are complete. :)

Thanks for the interest. A neighbor is really interested in it which would keep it close by. If anything changes I'll let folks know.

In the meantime, I'm trying to get all of the parts for the standard tire carrier. I have the parts from LMC but it appears there are a couple of parts missing, items 1 and 3 below. Can anyone help with identifying them so they can be obtained?

Uhh...

There are/were a couple different types of carriers installed I think.
Any chance you have the SPID sticker usually found in the glove box or on the Passenger wheel well I think?
Certainly that would help the identification process? I'm no pro. standard tire carrier.

Pretty sure there was a sliding or a swing out?
Pictures of what you have would prove the correct ID yes?

AND! Some of these dudes are wicked sentimental, don't mind em too much. ;) it does look pretty great though...hood isnt bent..original grille...oughta command a good price - higher than you think ESPECIALLY if the AC system is intact.

AND! That brown KICKS ASS BABY, YEAHHH! :headbang:
