Where are you all getting replacement bench seat foam? I looked on LMC and they're wanting $250 for the foam  .....so obviously, I'm wanting something cheaper and I'm not finding anything on eBay :whymewhyme:

I sourced mine from USA1. Iirc, it was around $200. Can't recall exactly, it was last year that I ordered it.

I wonder if they've gone up. I really don't think I paid that much for mine. I'll have to pull the invoice when I get home. Got me wondering now.

According to the questions and comments, the seatbelt holes are not precut. Don't know if that makes a difference to you or not.
Yeah, that actually does. I hand't noticed that. Well, crap.

You might want to check around locally. The upholstry shop here quoted me @250 to reuse my covers but replace all of the foam bottom and back on the seat.

Seat foam trimming isn't that difficult. I have found the easiest way to trim it is with an electric meat carver, like you use on the Thansksgiving turkey. Slices the foam like butter. And with the long blade trimming or contouring the foam is quite easy. Years ago I purchased a really cheap one just for seat foam. Better than having to sneak away with the one from the kitchen.

I would just take measurements or make a template from your existing foam and trim the seat bolt holes into the foam. Easy.

looks like USA1 has raised the price since the end of January 2018. I paid $199.95 for the foam for a '81-'87 model front bench seat lower.

Found a guy local to me with a used seat with good foam I’m gonna grab for $20 and grab the foam from that. We’ll see how it turns out. Worse case scenario is I’ll use @dhenderz idea and possibly make my own
