Hello,

I left the ign. on in my truck since Saturday when I got it home. I don't have any tools where I am at and need to know what size the battery tiedown bolt is. I'm trying to get this truck ready to drive before work today.

Thx!

I figured it out. Just happened to have a 7/16ths wrench and the bolt was slightly bigger. Bought a 1/2 and bingo!

They are normally 9/16" aren't they?

Mine was 1/2 inch. The 1/2 wrench worked all that matters to me. I'll get the battery back tomorrow and be driving again.

So you can't get a jump or charge the battery? It needs to be replaced?

No, I left it with Advanced Auto to recharge it. I'll get it back tomorrow after it has trickle charged for 24 hours. I wouldn't be driving the truck long enough to maintain a surface charge.
