Anyone ever seen a dash like this in a 73?

I was looking at an add for a potential new toy and noticed the dash in the 73 c10. I’ve seen a lot of the early squares before, but I’ve never seen this type of dash. It looks original and my guess is an early version. Looks odd especially when your used to seeing the other type of dash.

It also has a small brake pedal but no clutch pedal??? It is an unusual vehicle

Found this picture for a '73 C60 cab that is for sale. Maybe it was for the larger trucks.

My 1973 dash. I added the Auto Meter 2 1/8 tach, and the A/F ratio gauge

This is from my 74. 73 and 74 have some parts that are different than the rest of the square bodies

Yup seems like a big truck dash! That may be what the pedal is from as well.

Does that pickup have drip rails above the doors? I parted out an early '73 many years back that had a small pedal for the brake even though it was an automatic and it didn't have drip rails above the doors. I don't recall the dash, but I have seen medium duty trucks with that dash also.

That's the correct dash pad for a 73 without air conditioning. I think they realizes it was cheaper to just make a different trim piece, and looks better to boot.

Yes, 1973's did not have drip rails from the factory. My guess many complaints saw GM add the drip rails to the next year model. Then provided them at the dealer for anyone who wanted them added to their '73.

Yes again, the medium duty trucks had a different dash. The early base models did not even have vinyl, they were painted cardboard.
