Our 13th Anniversary of the Altus, Oklahoma Rock-N-Rumble Car Show and Cruise is just around the corner.

Friday, May 6 is the free outdoor concert and 7-10pm is Open Free Cruise on Main Street

Saturday, May 7
7:00 am Car show and cruise registration begins at 101 N. Main Street which is the Jackson County Courthouse and the West side of the Courthouse Square is the registration booth.

10 am to 12 p.m. is the Burn Out Contest sponsored by the Altus Firefighter’s Combat Challenge Team

11 am is the Stereo Sound Off Competition.

12 pm to 5 pm is a Free Outdoor Live Concert.

12 pm the Car Show Judging begins. Special Trophies & Cash prizes! Best of Show is $1000!

5 pm the Tailgate Parties begin with the Closed Classic Cruise starting at 6 pm and going until 9 pm. Then from 9 to 10 pm is the Closed Cruise. There’s even a prize for the best Tailgate Party!!! The first 250 entries will receive a 2011 Dash Plaque!

I went ahead and quoted CB75's info to the calendar, mainly to learn how to use it lol but it will make a reminder at the bottom of the forum under "Today's Events" (I think) when the event comes up! You can also pull up the event on the calendar and request a reminder for the event.

So how did it go CB75??? According to the news, looked like you guys were going to have 104 -105 degree weather this weekend. That's awful hot for a car show. And especially hot for a slow cruise on some of those rides with big cams. I bet their was some that overheated and some had to sit out. That's way hot for this time of year. Hopefully not a sign of the summer to expect. We were 94 in OKC today. That was hot enough, and about 20 degrees above normal. Hope it all worked out. Don't forget to post up pics and videos if you got any.
