SO as I have started to work on this 83 Burb I've just been hitting the easy things so far as IM learning about it. decided to clean under the hood a bit. i forgot to take a direct before pic so the one before is from an angel and distance but you can still see a drastic difference. Alot of people knock Plasti Dip. I have used it for 15 years for various things from "dipping tool handles" to using it on a set of Rims that the Dip lasted over 3 years without a scratch thru all the rains/ mud/ heat from brakes/rotors ect. It is just like anything else. all about prepping. Anyhow I think it turned out pretty good. I only used 2 light coats. I'll probably do 1 more just to hide a few more dimples type blemishes. I used tape and cardboard to make sure there wasn't any over spray on the exterior paint and such.
