I'm in need of an air filter housing for my truck. I think any early to mid 80's SBC filter housing will work. I'd need the housing, and intake ducting. I've tried to find this stuff used (there aren't really any wrecking yards left in the area) on like evil bay and most of them are missing pieces and ridiculous in price. So if you happen to have that stuff laying around hit me up I'm sure we can work a deal that we'll both be good with. Thanks.

If you have a stock air cleaner on a Quadrajet, there is no spacer needed on a carbureted engine. If you are trying to use an Edelbrock carburetor, you usually need a spacer to clear the fuel fitting.

Of course you are right. I am running an edelbrock, but can get my own spacer easy enough, I have removed that from the initial want post.

81 & up have the 2" taller lid.

You must be registered for see images attach

Good to know, so I'd prefer an 81 and up then. On a side note I couldn't help but notice your new looking A/C compressor and remote P/S reservoir for hydro boost system.

I know. And I could get a housing on E-bay plus buy the intake hose from LMC but that's getting pretty pricy. A route I'll go only if I have to.

Everything for these trucks is starting to get that way. I don't think I've seen an intake hose that hasn't been completely toast, removed, or partially together. Of course the few rare gems, but a truck that got miles and has been used will most likely not have a good intake hose.

I agree with that. Actually after seeing some of the well worn air filter housings on E-bay for $150+ I thought maybe I'd just by a new one from LMC but not available. Just look at this one what the ?!?!?! https://www.ebay.com/itm/2740855710...xuvJ-NDnI_5eHkrBcTyvwBOnATYrPoIoaAj2kEALw_wcB

That's absolutely ridiculous!! Makes me sick. I've bought multiple np205's and an sm465/205 combo for less money than that... all for an air cleaner.

I know a few members here will definitely be able to help with the housing assembly, but I'd say give up before you even start on trying to find the hose.

That would be awesome! No worries on the hose guys if someone only has the housing that's totally fine I can get the hose from IMC. Thanks!
I set myself a remind for tonight to get pics but it may be tomorrow before I can post them.

It is the top/bottom and hose - that I do remember.
