Hi
Can any one tell me the best upgrade kit out there for the 91 350 suburban? I went through three of those piece of junk axial compressors in two years! The bushing seizes and snaps the serpentine belt , always in July too
Thanks for your help with this

Huh, I thought the axial ones were supposed to be more reliable as a whole and the radial ones were comparatively junk

Sorry I meant the one I have now is the radial compressor which is totally worthless. I need to find a good quiet axial substitute. Chevrolet classics has a retro compressor but I’m not sure if it works for a serpentine belt setup.
Thanks,
Dennis

Sanden, new parallel flow condenser, red orifice tube, ac aux fan were my south texas summer solution for idle parking lot conditions. On the road stock setup with blue or white orifice tube worked acceptable.
