I acquired a parts truck for adding A/C to my C2500. However, I'm wondering if I'm missing some of the compressor mounting brackets. Here's a photo of what is currently on the parts truck, which is an 87 Chevy K10. What's missing for compressor mounting?

there is a front bracket that probably stayed with the compressor when it was removed

Thanks, so what I'm looking at is the bracket for the compressor rear. Now to figure out what the front compressor looks like.

I forgot to mention in original post that this relates to 350 sb.

Thanks...you wouldn't happen to have a photo from the AC compressor side of the engine?

You might also consider switching to a newer Sanden compressor. They are available from several sources, and there are brackets and hose kits that adapt to most GM setups. The R4 you have is better than the A6 boat anchor, but its still an old design.

I used the Vintage Air brackets and a Sanden to replace the A6 compressor on my 1975 GMC. The new brackets still require quite a long belt (like stock), but the compressor is reliable and works well. I had custom barrier hoses made, but I believe either Sanden or VA sell hoses and/or a bolt-on "block" that converts the Sanden fittings so you can use OEM hoses.
