Hello Guys and Gals. I have a 83 Silverado SB. My truck is finished custom. I just want to make some changes. I'm trying to find a a/c heater delete panel or should I make one. Im shaving my firewall. Do they sale it anywhere. Let me know thanks.

You can make it or you can buy one. They have types that bolt on and others that you cut the old holes out (because they have a lip around them) and then weld in a piece of sheet metal. The only limit is your imagination and what tools you have access to. Maybe google can provide results with some crafty searching, something like c10 firewall block off plate for starters.

I’ve got a fiberglass a/c delete box. Used “3m strip caulk” to seal it up to the firewall, remember that lol. With that stuff you basically roll it up like play doh, like 1/4 thick a little bit more then you line it around the edge of the box, I got a little excessive but that’s just me. I also used this around the heater core inlet and outlet, it’s close to the factory type of sealer.
