Howdy I am going to be putting a 9" th350 with lockup convertor from a 1984 c series in place of a 700r4 in an 1985 c series. Will any wiring mods be necessary? Any other surprise I'm not thinking of? Yes I know th350 in place of 700r is a step backwards but I have more time than money right now, Have a good th350, and need a work truck ASAP.

Actually it should all about work except maybe use different set of holes on the frame for trans cross member. Lock up connector should be the same.

How do you figure it's a step backwards? You're losing OD, but you're gaining strength. All the lock up circuit should be the same on both. With the 9in output shaft of the Th350 there's only about a 1/4 difference in the length so this should be an easy swap and able to use the same driveshaft too. Let us know how it goes. You can use the same braketry from the TV Cable to the Th350 Detent Cable also.
