Forgot to mention that my neighbor has a good ole looking square sitting in her driveway. Im trying to buy it as it has some decent parts on it, but she is attached to it and thinks its worth a lot more than it really is.

solid truck :) Attachment to a truck or sentimental value on a truck always makes it "worth" more than it is in dollar value.

Great read, awesome project, the new chevy brown looks awesome to me, hope you go with it! Do you have any shots of where the T56 shifter punches through the floor?

With the shifter in the front mount of the T56, the shifter comes in at the perfect spot, about half way between the seat and the dash. With the shifter in the rear mount on the T56, it would hit right at the front of the bench seat. If you are going to run buckets, it would be fine, however, if you need to move the bench seat forward, the shifter would not allow it.

Heres the only pics I could find of the shifter. Dont mind the wire nest! LoL!

Heres a video my buddy made of the truck. It shows the shifter location as well...

Not a whole bunch going on with this build anymore. Although I need to get the AC charged back up as it seems like it developed a leak and I lost all my Freon.:(

I did however run it through a car wash for the first time.

I think it turned out really well.

This was a GREAT 5 1/2 year project! But like all things, it came to an end for me last week. I sold it to a buddy of mine.

Hopefully someone needing any ideas or Tech can use some of these pics to aid them in their build.

Thanks for following along and maybe one day, Ill be starting a NEW Build thread on here. :D
